SOAAG collaborates with Tema District Council of Labour of TUC

Recognizing the invaluable role of the Trade Union Congress, as the mouthpiece of organized labour, SOAAG has on the occasion of May Day sent a congratulatory message to workers in the Maritime Industry and assured  them of their cooperation at all times.  This was followed up with  a cash presentation to the Tema District Council of Labour  of TUC in support of their activities for this year’s  celebration.

SOAAG Welcomes New Members

We recently bade farewell to Mr. Jason Reynard, who has been re- assigned to Nairobi,  Kenya. where he has taken up a new  Regional role with Bollore Africa Logistics, in charge of the supervision of Kenya, North & South Sudan, Horn of Africa (Djibouti & Ethiopia) and the Great Lakes Area (Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, & Eastern DRC).

His successor is Mr. Bernard de Buor , the Country Managing Director for Bollore Africa Logistics Ghana.

SOAAG Appoints a New Vice-President

Mr. Adam Imoru  Ayarna was recently appointed the vice- president of the Association. He brings along a wealth of experience in the maritime industry which culminated in his appointment as the Managing Director of Safmarine Gh. Ltd until his resignation in 2012 to start his consultancy office.
